Rice Pudding

This recipe comes from my dad. He’s here playing with Simon, and suddenly rice pudding sounds so, so good to me.

1 cup rice

1 cup sugar

5 cups milk

2 teaspoons vanilla

4 pats of butter

cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350. Mix rice, sugar, milk, and vanilla in a casserole dish. Add butter on top and sprinkle cinnamon over all. Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes or so. Serve warm (with extra milk, if desired).
