Another one from Real Simple. This one was a big hit with Simon.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup milk (we used almond milk)
- 3/4 cup frozen raspberries
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tablespoon nut butter (we used almond butter)
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy.

This sounds super yummy. Has Ian tried any of the smoothies?
I think Ian would like them, but he won’t let me get anywhere near him with the spoon. Silly kid. I will either have to make them thin enough to fit through his sippy lids or teach him to drink through a straw (inspired by Adeline!).
1) Smoothies are amazing. Although, I wouldn’t have thought to combine a nut butter and raspberries persay.
